Sanctions and PEP screening for nonprofits, free under $500K.
Our program for registered charities, NGOs and foundations. It covers the partners, suppliers, donors and trustees you work with. It doesn't cover the people you serve.
What nonprofits are asked to show
Banks, donors and regulators ask nonprofits for evidence that looks a lot like what they ask of a payment company. The budget behind it usually doesn't.
Two tiers, set by annual budget
Same product and same data as our bank and fintech customers. Your tier follows the budget in your latest filed accounts.
Budget under $500K
Then 50% off the standard plan while you stay eligible.
What you get- 100 sanctions and PEP screenings a month
- 25 profiles on daily ongoing monitoring
- Batch upload for partner and board lists
- Timestamped PDF reports for your bank and trustees
- Email support and an onboarding guide
Budget $500K and above
For international NGOs, foundations and grantmakers that screen at volume.
What you get- Everything in the free tier, at higher volumes

Who you can screen, and who we leave out
The program covers the relationships regulators and banks ask about. How much checking each one needs depends on its risk.
Partners and grantees
Organizations you fund or deliver with, plus their board and signatories.
Suppliers and vendors
Companies you buy goods and services from, in-country and abroad.
Major donors
Proportionate checks before you accept a large or unusual gift.
Trustees and key staff
Board members and people with signing or payment authority.
Aid beneficiaries are out of scope
We don't offer or promote screening of the people who receive humanitarian aid. The ICRC and humanitarian coalitions treat it as a red line, because it conflicts with impartiality and data protection.

NGO due diligence checklist
Pick who you're checking, tick the risk factors that apply and choose UK, US, EU or FATF guidance. You get each check and the evidence to keep. Free, no sign-up.

What counts as annual budget?
Total annual income or expenditure, whichever is higher, from your latest filed accounts. If it passes $500K, you move to the discount tier at your next renewal.
What if we use all 100 screenings in a month?
Screening pauses until the first day of the next month, when your 100 screenings reset. If you regularly need more, the discount tier gives you higher volumes at 50% off.
What happens after the free 12 months?
Organizations under $500K continue at 50% off the standard plan. We'll contact you before the free period ends.
Do you screen aid beneficiaries?
No. The program covers partners, grantees, suppliers, donors, trustees and staff. Humanitarian organizations, including the ICRC, treat screening of final beneficiaries as a red line.
Will this satisfy my bank or regulator?
That decision stays with them. complead gives you consistent, documented screening and reports you can share, which are the records banks and regulators usually ask to see.
Can grantmaking foundations apply?
Yes. Screening grantees is one of the main use cases, and larger foundations qualify for the discount tier.
